What little girl doesn’t love pixie dust, fairy wings, and sweets?!? This pixie party was created for the daughter of an uber talented illustrator. Sophie Hogarth is absolutely fabulous and we LOVE her. She hand crafts, paints, and decorates custom characters. She designed the hanging princess and cookies for our sweet station here, and decorated the custom cookies which can be seen on our farm party, and for our recent Halloween Sweet Station (which we’ll post more of soon!)
Sophie left no corner undecorated and did a fabulous job creating a kid friendly tea party complete with a fairy fortune teller. The party guests received a treasure box with a bumble bee friend and a ticket saving their place in line. They were so excited as they waited their turn to hear what the fairy fortune teller had to say. So cute! They also enjoyed face painting, and a bounce house!
For the sweet station, we used one of our Custom Table Tutu’s around the tablecloth and created a tulle backdrop. Custom fairies flitted over the table and adorned the favor boxes. For the sweets, guests enjoyed strawberry and lemon french macaron’s from Vanilla Bake Shop, mochi cookies and international edibles flown in from Europe. Chocolate hedgehogs, fruity mushrooms, coconut creme toadstools, walnut shaped cookies, glitter marshmallows, and butterfly topped Sweet Skewers were some of the favorites.
Check back tomorrow for a full post dedicated to all of the custom fairies that were seen around the party. There were so many adorable details.
