Sweets Indeed is home to the original Candy Kabob, or as we like to call them Sweet Skewers. We are always working on new, custom orders and are in the process of photographing some of our summer specials as well as our new Halloween line. From our “jumbo” 12 inch skewer that holds over a pound of candy, to our signature and mini Sweet Skewers, there is something for everybody. They make perfect party favors, centerpieces, add-on’s to gift baskets, stocking stuffer’s, holiday treats, etc. What would you use them for? Please let us know if there is anything you would like to see as a regular shop item. We will be stocking our etsy storefront with a new line of themed ready-to-ship Sweet Skewers!

Here’s a peek at some of our past Sweet Skewer creations. Thank you Sweet Peeps!

  1. Absolutely Beautiful! Who know candy could be so lovely. You have such a great eye for design and color. Simply Fabulous!

  2. I would love to subscribe to your blog but does not seem to work. I will leave a comment anyway. I would like to see a CUPCAKE SKEWER made. I have some friends over for tea every now and then and would love to display the cupcake skewers with the tea. What is better then tea & cupcakes (well candy cupcakes!).

We have cupcake shaped lollipop toppers! That’d be super cute! We have teapot and teacup ones too and will be photographing them the end of next week. I’m a “sucker” for all things Alice and love the tea-party motif.

I would love to see a flower, like a daisy shape with each skewer candies color coordinated with the top color. So you can match them up or mix up the colors. I love the colors you used in the dragonflies.

Or a sophisticated Halloween with a fleur de lis candy on top. Could be Halloween or mardi GRAS etc. I would use that for our voodoo halloween party. Thanks and hope I win!

  19. Ohhh! I would love something ice cream themed or red, white, and blue themed!! I am hosting an ice cream social for the kids in our battalion and these would look wonderfu!!

  20. So glad I found your adorable sweets skewers! I’m planning my son’s bar mitzvah, his color scheme is blue and silver (and maybe black) and his theme is New York City. I’d love to see skewers using some of the New York landmarks – Statue of Liberty, Emire State Building, famous street signs (Madison Avenue, etc.) and things of that nature. Just think, you can create a whole line of United States landmarks – the St. Louis Arch, the Golden Gate Bridge, etc. :)

  21. aliaswoman says:

  27. MelodyRush says:

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I’ve always loved decorating, carving pumpkins and dressing up. I like adding purple to the traditional black and orange color theme. I’d like to see skewers with these colors and little jack-o-lanterns and/or bats on top.

I would love to see Mickey Mouse themed skewers with a mickey mouse head at the top and red and yellow candy.

  31. I am doing a paisley party for a young lady in September. The colors are hot pink, orange, turquoise with a hint of lime green. There will be lots of flowers too so anything flowery would look great.

  32. maggiesweb says:

Both of my twins are about to lose their first teeth. I’d love to give them a sweet skewer each to commemorate the occasion! Unbelievably princess and cute for Ella and unbelievably shark/dinosaur/green/blue for Jack.

  33. diskomissy says:

I would love to see a Fancy Nancy themed skewer…maybe topped with a crown?

  34. kristib says:

I like salty & sweet combos. Would love to see skewers that incorporate that idea but I can’t really come up with what components you’d use. In Hawaii, there are all sorts of candies in this vein – gummy bears, gummy worms or gummy strips dusted in a light salty powder (li hing mui). Of course, this is probably more along the lines of a custom order, huh? Anyway, I love salty & sweet, and I love what Sweets Indeed is doing!

  35. emiliezayas says:

I think this is a great idea. I would love to see a Disney themed skewer. Using a Mickey or Minnie head shaped topper. We recently visited Disney for the first time with my 20 month old and she loves Disney now and quickly recognized the mouse shape.
