July 4th, 2010

Sweets Indeed recently had the pleasure of creating the dessert/candy and beverage stations for Found Vintage Rentals and Studio EMP‘s 4th of July event. The owner of Found, Jeni Maus, is an absolute doll and has an eye for all things vintage/antique. I met Jeni for the first time while working on a wedding a few weeks ago (which I will soon post photos of).

I had been wanting to get away from using a standard table and found her via a blog that I follow. Her showroom is a place of inspiration and she is always adding to her already amazing collection. Jeni rents her vintage pieces for weddings, photo shoots, and just about any event that needs a special touch. All of the furniture, trunks, bins, etc. shown in these photos are from Found Vintage Rentals. I was ecstatic when I arrived t0 set up.

Her home looks like it belongs in Country Magazine or Martha Stewart! We decided to go with a slightly different color palette and pulled in a lot of aqua colored accents. Strawberry filled doughnuts, bags of popcorn, and a festive beverage station were some of my favorite elements. Enjoy some “Sweet Liberty”. Warning: Tons of photos ahead! Hi! Are you talking about the jars that the mason jar desserts are in? Those come with the dessert shots from Vanilla Bake Shop. I have seen them via some online stores as well. ;-)
